The Pirates are back on the South Side of Chicago for game two of their series against the White Sox. The Buccos had an offensive explosion in their previous game, outlasting the White Sox 9-3. That offensive onslaught started with a five-run first inning and the Pirates did not let up after that.

total from last year and although it’s a hard climb, they are still very much alive in the race for the postseason. Another win against a division leader could be huge for their momentum as the regular season comes to a close.
