It’s here!
On a random Friday morning in August, Illinois announced its full non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season.
We’ve known a lot of these games already, but it’s nice to see them officially out somewhere.
It starts with a trio of exhibitions, one on the road at Cincinnati, followed by two at home against Baylor (that’ll be fun) and UIC (we’re playing an in-state school!).
Opening night brings FDU to town, followed
by Fran & Friends (Penn).
Then a rematch against Texas Tech in Lubbock and Sam Houston State (of Texas) coming to SFC.
We’re all waiting for the big Duke game on Nov. 17 before a trio of cupcakes at home.
UCONN is the big one on Dec. 4 before a few Big Ten showdowns (not yet announced) and Braggin’ Rights on a Sunday in St. Louis.
The program’s first-ever meeting with Seattle closes out the calendar year, before a Jan. 30 meeting with UNC in Nashville.
