The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana return to La Liga action for an important home game against Sevilla at Camp Nou, and Hansi Flick has called up the following 22 players for Sunday’s clash:
Goalkeepers: 13. Joan Garcia, 25. Wojciech Szczesny, 33. Eder Aller
Defenders: 2. João Cancelo, 4. Ronald Araujo, 5. Pau Cubarsí, 18. Gerard Martín, 24. Eric Garcia, 42. Xavi Espart
Midfielders: 6. Gavi, 8. Pedri, 16. Fermín López, 17. Marc Casadó, 20. Dani Olmo, 22. Marc Bernal, 43. Tommy Marqués
Forwards: 7. Ferran Torres, 9. Robert Lewandowski, 10. Lamine Yamal, 11. Raphinha, 14. Marcus Rashford, 19. Roony Bardghji
There is some amazing news for this one as Gavi has been cleared to return to action after missing almost six months after knee surgery, and while The Warrior isn’t expected to play many minutes, his presence in the squad alone is a huge reason for celebration. Eric Garcia is also back after missing the Newcastle game with a minor muscle issue, but the list of absentees is still notable as Alejandro Balde (hamstring), Jules Kounde (hamstring), Frenkie de Jong (hamstring) and Andreas Christensen (knee) are ruled out due to injury.
Predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1):
Joan; Espart, Cubarsí, Martín, Cancelo; Eric, Casadó; Yamal, Fermín, Rashford; Ferran
The match kicks off at 4.15pm CET/WAT (Barcelona & Nigeria), 3.15pm GMT (UK), 11.15am ET, 8.15am PT (USA), 8.45pm IST (India, Sunday), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
VISCA EL BARÇA!
