Barcelona are being linked with a move for Manchester City center-back Vitor Reis who spent last season on loan in La Liga with Girona
Hansi Flick and Deco are reportedly both big fans and think he has the right profile to play for Barcelona, according to Diario Sport.
Barca have already made “some first moves” as they try to find out Manchester City’s plans for the 20-year-old Brazilian.
The report suggests Barcelona are thinking about a possible loan with a mandatory purchase option and highlights
how Deco has a good relationship with City chief Hugo Viana.
City’s plans for next season aren’t quite clear yet, with Enzo Maresca set to replace Pep Guardiola as first-team coach.
As for Barca, they are focused on trying to sign Julian Alvarez but could move for a defender as well. The report adds that Luka Vuskovic was offered by his agent but a move is “highly complicated and has been ruled out.”
