What is the story about?
Think
about what Cristopher Sánchez accomplished yesterday. He broke a franchise record scoreless innings streak that had stood for 115 years. Think of all of the great pitchers the Phillies have had over that span since Grover Cleveland Alexander set the record in 1911. Robin Roberts never did it. Steve Carlton never did it. Roy Halladay never did it. Cliff Lee came close, but he didn’t do it either.
Don’t take this dominant stretch from Cristopher Sánchez for granted.
