The ever-changing Cleveland Browns roster, especially with lingering injury concerns, had a number of moves on Tuesday as part of Week 6 preparations for the Baltimore Ravens. On Monday, multiple reports came out that RB Audric Estime would be added to the Browns roster, with many wondering who would be departing to make room for the former New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos back.
Instead of one of the rumored trades making room, Cleveland placed backup RB Raheim Sanders on injured reserve Tuesday,
while making the Estime signing official. Sanders had three carries and one reception in 20 snaps in Week 5, with no indication of when he may have injured his hip, the designation the team gave for his IR move.
On top of those two 53-man roster changes, the Browns made four moves on the practice squad:
- Signed TE Devin Culp and G Vershon Lee to the practice squad
- Released CB Myles Bryant and WR James Proche II from the practice squad.
Proche was signed last week, but was not elevated for the game. Bryant has been on and off Cleveland’s roster since signing this offseason but has not played in a game.
The team shared the following about the two practice squad additions:
Culp (6-4, 237) is in his third NFL season out of Washington. Originally drafted by Tampa Bay in the seventh round in 2024, Culp has appeared in 18 career games. He will wear No. 82.
Lee (6-4, 318) is officially in his first NFL season out of South Carolina. Originally signed by Minnesota as an undrafted free agent in 2025, Lee has appeared in one career game. He will wear No. 65.
How do you feel about Estime as the replacement for Sanders on the active roster?
