Thursday night saw the Yankees begin a series against the Orioles, and do so in very good fashion. Thanks to 13 strikeouts and seven shutout innings from Max Fried, the Yankees mostly cruised past Baltimore, and did even gain a game in the AL East standings in the process. Tonight, they’ll hope to repeat all that in game two of the weekend set.
For tonight’s game, the Yankees will send Will Warren to the mound. Warren has had his ups and downs this year, and is coming in off a down, having gotten
hit pretty had by the Red Sox in a six-run first inning last time out. That being said, he was quite decent the last time he faced this O’s team.
As for Baltimore, they’ll start Trevor Rogers. After missing the start of the season recovering from Tommy John surgery, Rogers has been very good, coming into this game with just 1.43 ERA.
He is a lefty though, meaning the Yankees will lead off Paul Goldschmidt and start Amed Rosario, which worked pretty well in last night’s game.
We hope that you’ll come join us for the action tonight, and here’s everything you need to know on how to watch the game.
