The Big 12 Conference released its 2026 preseason poll on Thursday, with the league’s coaches unanimously selecting TCU to win the conference this season. The Horned Frogs received the first place vote of all 13 of the other coaches and coaches cannot vote for their own team. TCU has been preseason Big 12 favorites three of the last four seasons. The Frogs have earned a Big 12 regular season or Tournament Championship eight times since joining the league in 2013.
Frogball begins its journey to a seventh
trip to the College World Series next weekend with a three-game series against SEC heavyweights Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Oklahoma at Globe Life Field for the Shriner’s Classic College Showdown. TCU opens Big 12 play in Lupton Stadium on March 10 vs. the Kansas Jayhawks. Following TCU in the standings is the Arizona Wildcats, which took the first place vote from TCU’s Coach Saarloos.
