Welcome to the Morning Commute
Today we are talking about Mizzou Basketball!
Mizzou Basketball will be taking on Kansas for the last time in the foreseeable future this upcoming season with the six-game agreement coming to an end. The date is officially set.
The news was announced when the Jayhawks released their nonconference schedule. The game will be held at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City on Dec. 6.
Mizzou hasn’t released its full nonconference schedule
yet but games are confirmed with Creighton, SLU, Kansas and others. Plenty more updates to come so stay up to date on the RockM+ forums.

The transfer portal in college baseball officially opened on Monday, and multiple Tigers have entered the portal. Two big names on this season’s team include Blaize Ward and Kaden Peer.
Departures continue for Mizzou Baseball. Will be interesting to see what’s in store for the team’s future.
On paper there shouldn’t be a single issue that Missouri should be concerned about when they play Troy. But that’s been the case for essentially every year that they’ve played them and, well, you read what’s happened previously.
Mizzou needs to come into this game how it should go into every game: ready for battle. If that doesn’t happen the Trojans could catch the Tigers by surprise.
Jack Marquard, a three-star offensive tackle from Lakewood, Ohio has announced his commitment to Missouri.
The Tigers are up to 12 total commits in the Class of 2027.
Perhaps the significant blow to the Tigers’ lineup, however, is the departure of redshirt outfielder Tyler Macon. After spending three years with the program, Macon has officially entered the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining.
Like I mentioned earlier, the question marks are piling.
Over at Rock M+ we have more Mizzou football discussion and basketball discussion with the offseason picking up for football and basketball.
