BJ Penn is not exactly a trusted source right now.
The retired UFC legend is deep in the conspiracy wormhole and may be suffering from Capgras syndrome, “a psychiatric condition where a person believes a loved one, such as a family member, has been replaced by a doppelganger or is not who they claim to be.” Penn believes his whole family has been replaced by government agents out to steal his wealth, which is resulted in multiple legal disputes and altercations with his mother, who currently holds
a restraining order against the former Lightweight great.
Last time we checked in on Penn, he was begging UFC CEO Dana White for money to help stop the financial steal after multiple arrests.
Keep that recent history in mind as you read the following Instagram rant, which is largely bogged down by speculation about potential body replacements and clones of various tall members of the combat sports community. However, in the middle there is a very interesting section about “brian [sic] specialists kept telling BJ he had Parkinson’s and forced him to take a glutathione IV” which claims Penn had Parkinson’s disease while actively competing as a UFC fighter.
“The real question is why is Jeff Novitsky Head of UFC VADA Anti-Doping, Adam Sedlack IFC GYM CEO, and Sam Ingram real head manager of UFC Gym Hilo are all 6’8!?!?!? They all have sabotaged their own business partner BJ Penn in some way. Jeff Novitsky who tried to make Bj Penn look like a dirty athlete like he did steroids for a glutathione IV no where near the fight because brian specialists kept telling BJ he had Parkinson’s and forced him to take a glutathione IV, and Adam Sedlack who kept telling bj to retire and then begged BJ Penn on more than one occasion to use Mike Dolce who had one job which is feed BJ the day of the fight and he didn’t show up to feed BJ and BJ got wiped out in his retirement fight to Edgar looking as emaciated as a stick with teeth., and the “real head manager” of UFC Gym Hilo @samcingram who has no problem blasting BJ in public on BJs instagram and he’s an employee of ufc gym Hilo but why are they all 6 foot 8 inches tall ??????? All of them are 6’8! Is that just a coincidence folks ? Don’t take my wor for it. Check Sam’s account and then google Jeff Novitsky and Adam Sedlack and take a look at the suits and the shape of their heads and heights.“
Admittedly, Penn’s rambling is hard to follow here, but it’s a little odd that he would randomly name a specific drug that has been tied to treating Parkinson’s here. If Penn is claiming the Parkinson’s diagnosis came around the time of the Frankie Edgar fight (when he employed Mike Dolce to help him reach the Featherweight limit), which would mean Penn fought four more times inside the Octagon after showing Parkinson’s symptoms.
Again, that’s conjecture based on the ravings of an unreliable narrator. Still, there are previous rumors of Penn suffering from Parkinson’s disease, and the man does have 20 years of getting punches in the head to back it up. Likely, nothing will come of this latest rant, but perhaps it helps explain how things have gone so terribly wrong for the second UFC double champ?
