The Denver Broncos entered Sunday’s matchup versus the Carolina Panthers without their starting safety tandem of Brandon Jones and Talanoa Hufanga. The secondary suffered another loss for the remainder of the game with cornerback Riley Moss being ruled out with a concussion.
Late in the second quarter, Moss took a knee to the helmet attempting to make a tackle. Second-year player and former first-round pick Jadhae Barron replaced Moss opposite of Patrick Surtain II in the lineup.
In addition to Moss
being ruled out, wide receiver Jaylen Waddle will also be absent the rest of the second half due to a concussion. He took a big hit from Zakee Wheatley earlier in the game and walked off the field under his own power to the locker room. With Waddle out, the Broncos will need Courtland Sutton, Pat Bryant, and the rest of the receiving corps to step up and make some big plays.
