Indiana women’s basketball (0-0, 0-0 Big Ten) is set to take on Florida Gulf Coast (0-0, 0-0 ASUN) to open the 2026-27 season.
The Hoosiers’ roster is a mix of transfer portal signings and talented freshmen with head coach Teri Moren’s program recruiting as well as it ever has in recent years. They’re looking to return to NCAA Tournament play after a rare miss in 2026.
The Eagles are still finding their way as a program following the departure of Karl Smesko for the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. Raina Harmon,
just the third head coach in Florida Gulf Coast’s history, is entering her second season with the program.
