Men’s Golf
For their second invitational of the season, men’s golf traveled to Corvallis to compete in the Oregon State Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Trysting Tree Golf Club. The competition included 12 teams covering a large swath of the west: Gonzaga, Idaho, UC Irvine, CSU Fullerton, Sacramento State, CSU Northridge, Washington State, Utah State, Eastern Washington, Boise State, and host Oregon State.
The Ducks finished tied for 2nd after Monday’s action, with Tim Chang leading the way with a 4-under
138. Ramil Saelim, Adam Anderson, and Carl-Hugo Eriksson all shot under par in the opening two rounds.
Oregon distanced themselves in the third round yesterday, with the team making clutch birdies to finish in first place. Here is the final scorecard from all three rounds:

Men’s golf will next travel to Seaside, CA, for the Saint Mary’s Invitational on October 19-21. That will be a three-day, 54-hole tournament at Bayonet Golf Course.
Women’s Golf
The Oregon ladies played their third tournament of the season on Monday and Tuesday at the Windy City Classic at the Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, IL. The 12-team field featured many quality national teams, including Tulsa, Arizona, Iowa State, Northwestern, Illinois, Columbia, Arizona State, Purdue, Duke, Virginia, and Stanford.
When all was said and done in the opening rounds on Monday, Celina Yeo was in first with a 7-under 135. Shyla Singh also shot under par with a score of 141. Oregon’s five-player team went into Tuesday’s round in second place overall.
The third round yesterday saw the Ducks slip to a fourth place finish, while Stanford took the top spot. Yeo was impressive both days and ended the invitational as the individual runner-up.
