When you’re looking ahead to the regular season, it’s matchups like these that you circle on your calendar. The #2 Purdue Boilermakers, #1 in our hearts and in the Coach’s poll, heads to Tuscaloosa to take
on the #8 Crimson Tide from Alabama. These two teams have become very familiar with each other in recent years as this will be the third year in a row the two teams have faced off. Purdue is 2-0 in those recent matchups and is actually 7-3 all time against the Crimson Tide. I actually was able to attend a game in Alabama during the 2009-2010 season when Purdue came back to win 73-65. It was one hell of a game. These two seem to bring out the best in one another and I expect tonight to be no different. Purdue gets their All-American TKR back for the first time this season and he will need to help Purdue rebound the ball much better than in their prior two games.
