There are just four plays left battling it out for Caleb Williams’ best play of 2025. Bears fans have been voting on the last two weeks on 16 of Caleb’s top plays of 2025. Voting for the first Final Four matchup happens today, the second Final Four matchup happens Thursday, and the championship will happen on Monday.
We have reached the Final Four. Thousands of ballots have been cast. Here is how it has played out:
It really shouldn’t be a surprise that these four plays are the last four remaining.
They were the four highest-seeded plays; they were the ones that everyone discusses over and over. And, in short, they are all absolutely incredible plays. I mean, think about these 4 plays since Devin Hester left the Bears, how many other plays are even at this level over the last decade or so? A handful of Khalil Mack or Eddie Jackson plays, but there certainly aren’t many.
Let’s take a look at the two plays you can vote on today, and of course, the tweet that takes you to the voting.
Game-Tying Heave to Cole Kmet vs Rams
The only way that could make this play better is if the Bears had ended up winning the game. Everything else about this is absolutely insane. It’s so damn improbable. It still defies logic that it happened. Had the Bears won this game, I think this play eclipses “The Catch” as the greatest non-Super Bowl play in NFL history.
DJ Moore “The Catch II” vs Browns
Caleb Williams’ throw in this one mimicked arguably the most legendary throw and catch in NFL history, Joe Montana to Dwight Clark, “The Catch.” Moore snags the ball in the back corner of the end zone as the ball is just out of reach of a Browns defender.
