Former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, who previously teased a jump to middleweight after transforming into a 190-pound “monster,” is now walking around at featherweight, a place he called home in the early days of his UFC career. And that’s BEFORE he starts cutting weight for his UFC return at the White House.
That’s according to UFC CEO, Dana White, who’s been talking to McGregor “nonstop”
over the last few weeks. Here’s an excerpt from White’s conversation with Logan Paul on Impaulsive:
Paul: “Is that why you wouldn’t let me fight Conor?”
White: “Why the f*ck are you gonna fight Conor? You’re f*cking huge. Connor weighs 145 pounds, 155 pounds.“
Paul: “Yeah, but he says he could beat me, and I think people would tune in.”
White: “But everybody thinks that. If he said, ‘Oh, I can’t beat f*cking Logan Paul,‘ I mean, come on. Who’s gonna say that? You’re a f*cking professional fighter.“
McGregor hasn’t competed in over four years.
The 6’2” Paul, who walks around north of 200 pounds, should be easy work for ”Notorious.“ After all, the power-punching Irishman once defeated an opponent who was THREE TIMES his size. Hopefully UFC matchmakers can find someone equally tiny for McGregor’s 2026 return (assuming it’s legit).
As for McGregor’s actual weight, this may just be another case of White doing what he does best.
