The Cincinnati Reds are back in action (for better or for worse) after Monday’s day off, this time on the road in Chicago where they’ll take on the White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field.
The Reds made several moves earlier in the day, including the activation of lefty Nick Lodolo off the 15-day injured list after he’s finally over the blister issues that sent him to the shelf for the second time this season. They also selected the contract of former Colorado Rockies slugger (and 1st round pick) Michael
Toglia, who’ll begin this game on the bench.
Chicago will send righty Sean Burke to the mound to begin things, with first pitch slated for 7:40 PM ET.
Ke’Bryan Hayes is in the lineup for the Reds, which I’m sure is something that will bring you great joy to observe.
