AEW’s WrestleDream pay-per-view is coming up in less than two weeks (Oct. 17), so after President Tony Khan finished sucking up to David Ellison
today, he got to business at Grand Slam France adding a couple more title matches to his next major event.First up is AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley defending the gold against this week’s random thug from the Don Callis Family, “Dunkzilla” Mark Davis. Davis earned the title match by piledriving his way to a tag team victory in France over Death Rider
(and Dog) Gabe Kidd.
Meanwhile, after Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland got into it yet again during Bandido’s successful ROH world title defense against Kofi, a challenge was issued to run back their AEW world trios championship match from All Out at WrestleDream, this time in a best 2-out-of-3 falls match. Khan made the title rematch official a short while later.
Here is the updated card for WrestleDream:
- AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Samoa Joe vs. six more wrestlers in Clockwork Carnage
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Thekla
- AEW World Trios Championship: Swerve Strickland & New Level (c) vs. Hangman Page & Brodido in 2-out-of-3 Falls
- AEW World Tag Team Championship: Young Bucks (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight

That’s five AEW titles currently booked, with five more AEW titles left to potentially add to the card between now and Oct. 17.
