What is the story about?
AEW previously announced tour dates across the USA and the UK for December, and now we know which ones are the branded specials, such as Winter is Coming.
The schedule was revealed by Tony Schiavone on the Continental Classic selection special:
- Winter is Coming Dynamite on Wednesday, December 10 from Atlanta, GA
- Winter is Coming Collision on Saturday, December 13 from Cardiff, Wales
- Holiday Bash Dynamite & Collision on Wednesday, December 17 from Manchester, England (The TV schedule looks like Collision will be split for one hour on Wednesday and one hour on Saturday)
- Dynamite on 34 Street taped on Saturday, December 20 from New York City to air on Wednesday, December 24
- Christmas Collision taped on Sunday, December 21 from New York City to air on Thursday, December 25
- Worlds End PPV on Saturday, December 27 from Chicago, IL
- New Year’s Smash Dynamite on Wednesday, December 31 from Omaha, NE
It will be interesting to see how AEW fills matches for these specials. The Continental Classic and the women’s tag team title tournament will be a large focus. Past editions of Winter is Coming have had world title matches, plus the debut of Sting! The Dynamite
Diamond Ring held by MJF is another attraction during the holiday season.
