Going to try something new for February, with the aim of sparking discussion and conversation, while we wait for meaningful (or even semi-meaningful!) baseball games to show up. Every day this month, I’ll be posing a question, and hopefully, people will choose to respond to it. Do not fear: this is not a test, and there are no wrong answers. For the first week, the (general) theme is going to be ‘Hope, Scars and Fan Identity’. But this might well get interrupted should there be some breaking news
to address.
What would you consider a “successful” 2026 for the D-backs?
You are basically free to come up with your own definition of “success” here. For some, that might mean winning the World Series. For others, reaching the playoffs, having a winning record, or simply developing young players might be the measure of success. Maybe it means D. Baxter falling into a wood-chipper. Oops. Did I say that out loud? Anyway: again, no wrong answers.
