Going to try something new for February, with the aim of sparking discussion and conversation, while we wait for meaningful (or even semi-meaningful!) baseball games to show up. Every day this month, I’ll be posing a question, and hopefully, people will choose to respond to it. Do not fear: this is not a test, and there are no wrong answers. What would you consider a “successful” 2026 for the D-backs?
You are basically free to come up with your own definition of “success” here. For some, that might mean winning the World Series. For others, reaching the playoffs, having a winning record, or simply developing young players might be the measure of success. Maybe it means D. Baxter falling into a wood-chipper. Oops. Did I say that out loud? Anyway: again, no wrong answers.
