When you’re the starting quarterback of an NFL team, your time is precious. Everyone wants a piece of that limited resource, particularly in the offseason when there’s more to go around.
That’s the case for Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers, who has plenty of commitments this spring. On Thursday, Love was in Milwaukee to throw out one of the ceremonial first pitches before the Brewers demolished the Chicago White Sox 14-2. Love will also be one of the co-hosts of the summer charity softball game
that features a number of Packers players.
Those activities pale compared to the biggest commitment Love has this spring, however. Most importantly, he and his wife, Ronika, are expecting a baby, which will certainly take up a lot of whatever remaining free time Jordan can expect to have in the coming months.
Fortunately, Jordan knows the Packers’ offense inside and out, and with few changes on the team’s coaching staff on that side of the ball, the football part of this offseason should not be a major challenge for him. The same cannot be assured of parenthood, however.
Here’s a look at what else Love is up to, as well as some other Packers-related bits of news.
