According to a report from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich and Chelsea are getting close to a deal for Nicolas Jackson.
In fact, Plettenberg described the status of the situation as, “Nicolas Jackson is set for a loan move to FC Bayern.” After days of speculation, it appears that Bayern Munich and Chelsea have worked out all of the finer details, including Bayern’s willingness to cover Jackson’s full salary, which is rumored to be approximately €7 million:

Earlier today, Bayern Munich was rumored to have made massive strides in a deal for Jackson, agreeing to personal terms with the player. Chelsea FC, however, had been said to still prefer a permanent deal if they were to let the Senegalese attacker go.
A report by Rahman Osman (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia) stated that Jackson’s entourage was in London to help finalize the deal, while another report by Florian Plettenberg contradicted the first one saying that Bayern is still at odds with both the player and the club, and that Premier League clubs are prowling.
In the end, it seems like Bayern Munich is going to get its man. Will this gamble pay off?

The home side was game and did give Bayern Munich a battle. Sure, the Bavarians were deeper, quicker, stronger, and better, but the 3.Liga side was not going to go down easy in what was an entertaining match. Bayern Munich ultimately won 3-2.
