Today, the Cleveland Browns take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season. The Browns (2-8) are coming off of a loss to the Ravens in which Cleveland’s offense could not score a touchdown.
Despite that, the defense kept Cleveland alive for much of it, but eventually Baltimore was able to take advantage of Shedeur Sanders’ inexperience as he made his season debut in the second half. The Raiders (2-8) only win in their last nine games came against the lowly Titans, as they have really struggled to muster any success offensively as well.
On paper, this game looks simple: two offenses that are extremely bad, and two defenses that can have some big moments, led by stars like Myles Garrett on one side and Maxx Crosby on the other. The Cowboys’ defensive backs looked oddly frozen and mismatched last week very bad against the Cowboys, although their receivers are far superior to Cleveland’s. The X-factor will be how quick Sanders is to react this week, and the team is at his mercy as to whether they have a shot at winning.
