Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Michigan fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
Michigan is a No. 1-seed in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament, with their first game coming on Thursday against either UMBC or Howard. If Michigan advances to the Round of 32, they’ll play either No. 8 Georgia or No. 9 Saint Louis. The farther Michigan advances, the more
difficult their matchups will be.
In this edition of SB Nation Reacts, we’re asking how many games do you think Michigan will win in the NCAA Tournament. Vote below.
Michigan is 31-3 on the season, with their most recent loss coming on Sunday, falling 80-72 to Purdue. While it would have been nice for Michigan to have as much momentum as possible heading into the tournament, it’s fair to say they may have already had March Madness on their mind and came out a bit flat against the Boilermakers.
Michigan hasn’t been the same team since L.J. Cason tore his ACL, with their games all being close in his absence. It’s fair to assume that Cason’s absence could greatly influence how far Michigan goes in the tournament.
