I’ll be honest, I was surprised about how last week went, especially after the first quarter. For at least 1 game, Clemson showed the type of mental toughness that has eluded them for several seasons. I’m not going to sit here and say everything has been solved, Clemson is going to win out, and we are going to the playoffs. 3rd down conversions are still a problem. The run defense is more paper tiger than real tiger, but sometimes you have to just win and Clemson did that.
This should be another close
game. Cal has performed a little better than Clemson in some areas, but they have had a weaker schedule. And with how stop/start the offense is it is hard to have confidence. Against UNC the OL was decent overall. If that continues then we should see progress. But if it becomes traffic cone city get ready for a long night.
On the bright side, apparently it should be good weather for once this season!
