Utah Royals FC announced its roster on Tuesday, ahead of the 2026 season, along with the dates and matches for preseason.
The roster consists of 22 contracted players and nine non-roster invitees who will follow the directions of head coach Jimmy Coenraets. Out of those 22 players, 18 have already played in the 2025 season, while the other four have joined the club recently. Who are those four players? Former Washington Spirit Narumi Miura, former Angel City Miyabi Moriya, Madison Hammond, who signed
with the club for two seasons, and Utah native and former Washington Spirit Courtney Brown.
Regarding international spots, Utah has five occupied and two unoccupied spots after both Tanaka and Moriya received their green cards. In the case of Miura, she already had her green card before coming to the club.
If we talk about matches, the Royals will begin their preseason on January 14 when they report to Zions Bank Training Facility and will train there until the beginning of February. After that, they’ll travel to Santa Barbara for a friendly against Bay FC on February 6th.
On February 15 at 3 p.m. MT, Utah will begin its participation in the Coachella Valley Invitational when they play Denver Summit FC.
