Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what’s going on in pro wrestling — Wrestler Rankings are where YOU let us know YOURS.
Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the five performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why.
We also have the outcome of last week’s voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for the Cageside Cup, given to our Performer of the Year.
This week, we’re voting on nationally televised and
internet streaming pro wrestling shows that took place May 3-9, 2026 — New Japan’s Wrestling Dontaku (both nights), Raw, NXT, Evolve, Dynamite, Impact, ROH on HonorClub, SmackDown, Collision, WWE’s Backlash premium live event, AAA & CMLL’s weekend shows, and everything else I’m no doubt forgetting.
But first, here’s the outcome of last week’s voting, and how those results changed our annual competition for the Cageside Cup.
Just saying hi before she starts pinning former main roster champs…

- Fascinating race for our top spot last week, as the Samoan Werewolf racked up first place votes while Fatal Influence’s leader had her name show up all over Cagesiders’ ballots. Her points for lots and lots of 2nd-4th place finishes added up to just a few more than the points he amassed with his many firsts and just a few other votes.
- The Very Nice, Very Evil One has settled into third through two weeks. It’s a strategy that worked out well for last the winner of last year’s Cup…
- AEW’s TNT and World champs gave us a heck of a Dynamite main event, and round out our Top Five for their efforts.
- One half of the original TMDK duo is now NOAH’s World champ (the GHC Heavyweight title), so suck it Slapjack. He had just a few more points than the in-mourning Men’s United States titleholder, and The Grayson Waller-squashing Ruler.
- We round things out with the GOAT Slayer for leaving QB1 unconscious, and the Men’s Intercontinental champ for… having zero fear, we reckon.

Where the Top Ten is pretty meaningless at this point, but it gives us some interesting lists. And a few of those names at the top figure to linger into the summer, if not further…

Ready to do it again? You can always check the “how to” here if you need to, or ask a question in the comments. The main things you need to know are you have five spots on your ballot, you can’t put the same person in two of them, but you can split a single or multiple spots between multiple wrestlers. Now…
Let’s have those ballots! We’ll take it from there, and see you back here in a week for the results and another vote!
