The Knights won a competitive series against Nashville (14-13) to pull themselves within a game of .500.
Outfielder Jarred Kelenic, 26, was on top of his game this week, making sharp contact left and right while being a threat on the bases. Kelenic posted a .452 OBP and an .826 SLG, launching four homers and adding a double and four stolen bases without being caught. Kelenic has primarily played center field for the Knights, which is a position where offense is generally less expected. As a result, Kelenic’s value this week was off the charts.
Shortstop Jacob Gonzalez, 23, deserves honorable mention, as he also posted an OPS above 1.200. Gonzalez went 8-for-23 with three homers, 11 RBIs, a double, and five walks, as Nashville pitchers struggled across the board against him. In 2025, Gonzalez slashed .232/.307/.345 , and in 2024, his numbers were nearly identical (.238/.307/.343). Entering this season, it seemed as though Gonzalez did not have a very high ceiling offensively, but he is changing that narrative in a hurry. Gonzalez is slashing .267/.385/.544 in 2026, and he is looking a lot like the player the White Sox drafted in the first round in 2023.

The Barons evened up their series against the Clingstones (12-9) with a victory on Sunday to conclude their second straight series split.
Infielder Alec Makarewicz, 25, who plays first base and third base, had a big week for the Barons. Between his three stolen bases in as many attempts and his OPS that exceeded 1.000, Makarewicz won an intense race for Baron of the Week. Outfielders Samuel Zavala and Jacob Burke, infielder Jordan Sprinkle, and reliever Jackson Kelley all made a strong case, but the spark provided by Makarewicz was most prominent. Makarewicz went 8-for-24 with two homers, a double, and four walks to finish with a 1.054 OPS. Overall, Makarewicz has a .273/.337/.545 slash line that includes five homers already, as he has provided a lot of pop for the Barons.

The Dash remained hot, as they won yet another series to improve to 14-7. This week, they won four out of six against Hub City (9-11), sweeping a doubleheader on Sunday by a combined score of 19-1 to seal the deal.
Infielder Colby Shelton, 23, is on a heater of epic proportions. After posting a 1.614 OPS last week, Shelton remained on a completely different level this week. Shelton went 9-for-23 with three homers, three doubles, and five walks en route to a 1.413 OPS. Through 19 games, Shelton is slashing .417/.506/.806 overall, and his performance has been jaw-dropping thus far. Shelton opened the season as our No. 44 White Sox prospect, and his stock has skyrocketed about as much as it possibly could before the end of April.

Kannapolis dropped another series, this time only managing to collect two wins in the six-game series against Charleston (12-9). The Cannon Ballers have really stumbled out of the starting blocks, and they already find themselves nine games under .500.
Despite the team’s struggles, second baseman Javier Mogollón, 20, was on fire, finishing 8-for-19 with a triple, two doubles, and two walks. As a bonus, Mogollón stole four bases and was not caught stealing at all. Mogollón was No. 25 on our top White Sox prospect rankings to open the season, and his outlook is even brighter than it was a few weeks ago. Overall, Mogollón is slashing .254/.439/.407 and is 9-for-10 on stolen base attempts, as he has found all kinds of ways to reach base.
