Indiana women’s basketball is set to take on Marshall on Tuesday night at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana.
The Hoosiers are coming off of a too-close-for-comfort 72-56 win over UIC at home. The game
was largely competitive through the first three quarters, with Indiana even facing a halftime deficit, but Shay Ciezki was able to lead the Hoosiers to a win.
The Thundering Herd is 2-0 on the season with a pair of pretty dominant wins over Buffalo and Northern Kentucky. Marshall hasn’t scored a ton of points, but it hasn’t had to, holding those two to 39 and 53 points, respectively

Predictions
Indiana will want to start fast and build an early lead against an opponent that’s proven it can defend well. After the scare against UIC, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some sense of urgency out of the Hoosiers not wanting to feel their backs pressed against the wall for another game. Indiana should win this, but it’s gotta prove the UIC game was more of a fluke than a marker of what this team can achieve.
