Barcelona’s hunt for a new No. 9 has kept the rumor mill busy all summer long and continues to make headlines as the Catalans struggle to bring in a striker.
Club Brugge forward Nicolo Tresoldi is the latest name that can be added to the very, very, very long list of targets that Barcelona are reportedly interested in.
The Germany Under-21 international is said to be attracting interest from Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in the final weeks of the transfer window, per Caught Offside.
There’s even a claim that Barcelona are “accelerating” their interest in Tresoldi after making little progress in their bid to land top target Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid.
Tresoldi is seen as a decent low-cost option who could be available for around €45-50 million. The 21-year-old is also in the minds of Premier League clubs and could be one to watch as clubs scramble to finalise their squads.
Would Tresoldi be a decent option for Barcelona? Tell us what you think in the comments below!
