MLB Trade Rumors | Mark Polishuk: While the Yankees would’ve needed some bullpen upgrades regardless, the team has let some of their relief options go this offseason, include Devin Williams going across town to the Mets. In need of some additions back there, the Yankees have reportedly been among a couple teams to check in on the Cardinals’ JoJo Romero. Last year, Romero posted a 2.07 ERA and 3.28 FIP in 61 innings for St. Louis, and had been a pretty solid reliever in the two seasons prior to that
as well.
MLB.com | Bryan Hoch: In case you missed it, the Yankees reportedly did make a move on Saturday, bringing back Amed Rosario to bolster their bench. The utilityman and former Mets top prospect played well after getting traded from the Nationals to the Yankees at the Trade Deadline last year, and has a pretty sterling reputation for hitting left-handed pitchers.
MLB.com | Jim Callis: The MLB Draft is close to the last thing on anyone’s minds at this stage of the offseason, but there’s only so many rumor posts that come out on a given day. In today’s case, one thing we can look at instead is a — very early — MLB Mock Draft. In this particular one, they’re projected to select high school catcher Will Brick out of Memphis, TN. Obviously, there’s still a lot to happen and a lot of baseball to be played before we can really start thinking about that.
