Bayern plotting Diomande move for 2027? (TEAMtalk)
Bayern Munich has been rumored to have interest in RB Leipzig attacker Yan Diomande, but the Bavarians are not along. Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain are also rumored to have interest in the 19-year-old.
What makes this report interesting is that it states Bayern Munich might not get involved with Diomande until the summer of 2027 — a risky proposition as the player could look to leave RB Leipzig this summer.
Why would Bayern Munich wait? Well, this report states that there is some
worry that Michael Olise could look to leave the club in the coming seasons:
We can reveal both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain rate Diomande extremely highly, although neither club are currently pushing aggressively for an immediate transfer. Instead, both giants have communicated that 2027 could represent the ideal timing for a major move once the winger has gained further experience at the highest level. The same applies to Bayern Munich.
Sources have confirmed to us that Bayern retain a strong interest in Diomande and have already made it known internally that he is viewed as a serious future target. Rather than attempting to force an immediate deal this summer, Bayern are understood to be strategically planning ahead, believing Diomande could become one of Europe’s defining attacking players over the next two seasons.
We understand Bayern’s thinking is also partially shaped by the future uncertainty surrounding Michael Olise. While the Bundesliga champions insist Olise is not for sale and remains a cornerstone of their project, there is awareness internally that clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona could intensify interest in the France international by 2027.
As part of their long-term succession planning, Bayern have identified Diomande as one of the standout “next generation” attackers capable of eventually stepping into that elite bracket.
As of now, there is no indication that Olise wants to leave Bayern Munich, but in football, anything is possible. Until the Bavarians have Olise inked to a contract extension, they — sort of — have to prepare contingency plans.
Olise’s contract with Bayern Munich ends after the 2028/29 season.
No talks with Vlahović’s dad per report (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)
There were rumors floating around that Bayern Munich met with the father of Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović regarding a potential partnership for the future, but Sport Bild’s Christian Falk is reporting that is not true:
❌ It is NOT TRUE: Bayern officials have held talks with Dušan Vlahović’s father over a potential summer transfer. I’ve had a clear “not true” from the club. Dušan Vlahović is an interesting player, certainly as a free agent for the summer. So there’s going to be plenty of rumours around the Serbian! He shared some quotes with the press as well, which also added fuel to the fire with the rumours. However, Bayern Munich are not interested at the moment. Not because the 26-year-old isn’t good enough, but rather because they already have Harry Kane. They don’t need a player like Dušan Vlahović. Ideally, Bayern are in the market for a versatile offensive star who can play across multiple positions, like Anthony Gordon. The Englishman can play as a striker and across both flanks. So this is the idea.
Popp goes out with a bang (DW Sports)
Alexandra Popp cracked a beer after being subbed out of her final match with Wolfsburg. Talk about going out in style:

Carvajal to leave Real (ESPN)
Early reports broke that Dani Carvajal was going to leave Real Madrid as ESPN captured:
Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal will leave the club at the end of his contract this summer, according to The Athletic. The 34-year-old came through the youth ranks with Los Blancos and has only spent one season of his 14-year career away from the club when he joined Bayer Leverkusen before returning to the Spanish capital one year later. Carvajal has won 26 trophies with Real Madrid, having made 449 appearances for the side, but the side is now believed to be on the lookout for other right back options.
Then, it went official:
Neymar can’t avoid drama (The Touchline)
Somehow, someway, controversy and drama find their way to Neymar. Check this out:
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Aboslute CHAOS during Neymar’s substitution for Santos:
Neymar was receiving treatment on the sidelines while Robinho Jr. prepared to come on
The fourth referee mistakenly announced Neymar as the player being substituted
Robinho Jr. entered the pitch REPLACING Neymar… while Neymar was still OFF the pitch received treatment
Neymar then tried to return to the match but referees didn’t allow him to do it as the change was made
Neymar then picked the referee’s substitution card and showed the cameras to prove he was NEVER supposed to be taken off, as in the substitution card there was the name of another player, not Neymar
In the end, Neymar was unable to return to the match and left annoyed, as this was his LAST match before Carlo Ancelotti announced the World Cup squad 🇧🇷😳
