What better way to put a Detroit Lions loss behind you than to look forward to next week. Luckily, the NFL schedule has made it pretty easy for Lions fans to do that. That’s because Sunday’s action ends
with the Seattle Seahawks taking on the Lions’ next opponent: the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders are in a bit of a desperate spot. They’ve lost three in a row and are 3-5 on the season—and things don’t get any easier in the near future. They’ve got the 5-2 Seahawks tonight, the “never lose two games in a row” Lions next week, and games against the Broncos, Vikings, Cowboys, and Eagles (twice) down the road.
This isn’t quite a must-win game over Washington, but a 3-6 hole will be hard to get out of with that schedule.
How will the Commanders look? Will there be any deficiencies we see that the Lions can take advantage of next week. Come watch some “Sunday Night Football” with us, and share your comments and observations in the comment section at the bottom of the page.
