For those hoping to see former Bayern Munich star and current FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski or RB Leipzig attacker Timo Werner lining up next to Lionel Messi at Inter Miami next season, well, you are going to be disappointed.
According to a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, neither Lewandowski, not Werner are on Inter Miami’s wish list:
🚨🇺🇸 As well as Timo Werner, also Robert Lewandowski is not part of Inter Miami shortlist for new signings in 2026 despite recent speculations.
Lewandowski is only focused on the current season at Barcelona, ahead of deciding his future in 2026.
Lewandowski still has enough left in the tank to play in a “Top 5 League”, while Werner needs a fresh start somewhere…anywhere. For Werner, the San Jose Earthquakes are still rumored to an option, while Lewandowski will survey the scene in the summer.
