Robin Roefs: 10/10
Will be disappointed with himself for the Chelsea goal but has been unbelievable all season and rock steady today.
Lutsharel Geertruida: 10/10
Had his flank completely shut down, didn’t give Chelsea anything, was good on the ball and we’ve got to try and get him on a permanent. He’s so good.
Nordi Mukiele: 10/10
Nordi was a man possessed today, was flying out of defence and sniffing out any threats. Completely out fought any Chelsea player near him, almost set up a goal too with a flying back post header.
Luke O’Nien: 10/10
Came in for Alderete and was absolutely flawless.
His use of the ball was fantastic throughout and got an assist with a lovely flick on for Hume.
Reinildo: 10/10
Rushed out quickly and got turned early on allowing Palmer to have a run into the box but was so tenacious off the ball to stop any threat down his side.
Trai Hume: 10/10
Scored an absolutely quality goal with the outside of his foot, gave Lutsharel plenty of protection down our right and played some really good balls into the box, including a great little chipped effort to Brobbey.
Granit Xhaka (C): 10/10
The captain led from the front today, wanted it far more than anyone in the Chelsea team.
Noah Sadiki: 10/10
Covered so much ground and Chelsea couldn’t get to grips with his movement as he popped up all over both on and off the ball.
Nilson Angulo: 10/10
Very erratic on the ball but worked so hard out of possession and with a bit more composure could have got a goal or an assist. Did hit the post after getting down a channel but maybe should have slipped Brobbey in.
Enzo Le Fee: 10/10
Absolutely class today, unbelievable work rate combined with his usual class on the ball. Played so many great balls that set the team onto the counter and got down the side to play in Brobbey for the second.
Brian Brobbey: 10/10
Terrorised the Chelsea defenders, they just couldn’t cope with him at all. Far too strong, usually too quick and was just missing the goal, although he forced the second goal when his mishit shot rebounded in.
Substitutes
Wilson Isidor: 10/10
Competed aerially after the came on as the team held off late nerves.
Habib Diarra: 10/10
Showed plenty of movement and pace after coming on, getting down the right wing regularly to drive us up the pitch.
Chris Rigg: 10/10
Came on late on for a tiring Le Fee.
Man of the Match: Granit Xhaka
An absolutely colossal display in midfield. A top notch passing display, his running belied his age and his defensive work rate was unbelievable. The captain showed why he was the club’s player of the year.
