The start of the 2026 Detroit Lions season is still months away, but we’re starting to at least get a feel for what the squad may look like. The roster will undergo some tweaks and tinkers, but the majority of their contributors for the upcoming season are already on the team. We’ve now heard from all three Lions coordinators regarding their current outlook of the team and plans for the season.
So on this week’s episode of the PODcast, we make six BOLD predictions for the Lions’ season.
I won’t give
them all away here, but the following people are discussed extensively in these predictions: offensive coordinator Drew Petzing, D.J. Wonnum, Derrick Barnes, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Alim McNeill. To give another hint: a few of us are making some seriously big predictions for the Detroit Lions offense.
But to begin this week’s PODcast, I break down my experience at Frank Ragnow’s chairty event, where the former Lions center held his first media session since his sudden retirement last year. I share some personal stories from the event, and the whole crew breaks down some of the things he revealed about last year’s ordeal.
We also discuss the latest news from Lions OTAs, including a lot of developments in Detroit’s secondary, along with some interesting news about Giovanni Manu.
