Barcelona look set to sell striker Ferran Torres to reigning back-to-back European champions Paris Saint-Germain in a €55 million deal that is expected to be finalized this week.
The Shark is set to depart after four and a half years at the club following his move from Manchester City in January 2022, and he’s undoubtedly been one of the most polarizing players in recent Barça history.
After a very slow start to life at Camp Nou with low goal contribution figures and a struggle to nail down his best
position, Ferran finally became a consistent player under Hansi Flick, scoring 40 goals in the last two seasons as a full-time striker.
Torres scored Spain’s World Cup winning goal in the summer and is currently the only senior striker in the squad while Barça continue to chase their dream signing of Julián Álvarez, and it’s safe to wonder if Ferran’s departure really is the best thing for the club right now.
So today’s Barca Blaugranes Question of the Day is:
Will Barcelona regret selling Ferran Torres to PSG?
