Two teams survived elimination yesterday with victories to extend the series. Now they’ll have to do it again if they want to make it to a possible Game 5 this weekend.
The Phillies and Dodgers contest is up first and about ready to get started. Philly took their first step in what would be a massive comeback, beating the Dodgers in front of their home fans. Can the Phillies do it again? They’ll ask Cristopher Sanchez to keep down the potent Dodgers lineup. Los Angeles will counter with oft-injured
righty Tyler Glasnow, who was brought in for exactly these situations by the Dodgers.
Then we switch over to the Brewers trying to finish off the Cubs in Chicago. The division rivals have won their home games so far and if that continues today then we’ll be heading back to Milwaukee for Game 5, which everyone outside of Milwaukee is probably hoping for. The Brewers Crew will ask staff leader Freddy Peralta to finish off their rivals while the Cubbies are tasking journeyman lefty Matthew Boyd with getting the Cubs back to Milwaukee.
Who wins today? Are we going to be blessed with a couple Game 5’s this weekend? Make your guesses below!
