Indiana football is loading up on the defensive line again.
Tobi Osunsanmi, a junior edge rusher formerly of Kansas State, has committed to the Hoosiers out of the transfer portal, per reporting from ESPN’s
Pete Thamel. He’s the third (I think, this is all happening at once) transfer commitment of the day for the program, is a 4-star prospect out of the portal and ranks as the 6th highest-rated edge rusher and 54th highest-rated prospect overall, per On3/Rivals.
Osunsanmi spent the past four seasons with Kansas State, redshirting in 2022 as a true freshman. He’s totaled 49 tackles (39 solo), 8.5 sacks and two forced fumbled with the Wildcats, with most of that production coming as a redshirt sophomore and junior these past two seasons.
Indiana has found tremendous success along the defensive line with players like Mikail Kamara, Stephen Daley, Kellan Wyatt and others at the edge. Buddha Williams, Indiana’s defensive ends coach, has run that group well in his two seasons with the program.
