According to a report from transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano
, Paris Saint-Germain have reached a verbal agreement with Ajax for Mika Godts, with the deal now at the “here we go” stage.PSG submitted a new official bid for the Belgian winger, with the overall package reportedly worth €55 million. Ajax have now verbally accepted the proposal, although the clubs still need to exchange and complete the formal documentation before the transfer can be finalized.
The agreement confirms the earlier reports
from July that PSG had identified Godts as a major target.
For Ajax, it would represent another significant sale and a major financial return on a player who has continued to attract attention across Europe. For PSG, meanwhile, the move would add another talented young attacker to an already deep and star-studded squad. Godts offers pace, creativity and the ability to operate from wide areas, giving Paris another dynamic option in attack.
The €55 million package also underlines just how highly PSG rate the 20-year-old.
The paperwork still needs to be completed, but the verbal agreement is now in place. Unless something unexpected happens, Mika Godts is on his way to Paris.
Earlier this summer, Godts was rumored to be on Bayern Munich’s radar.
