As another road trip begins to circle the drain, our Mariners plod on, making their final stop in Cobb County to kick off a three-game series against the Atlanta Braves.
Lineups:

Harry Ford once again is on the bench, and despite my and the fanbase at large’s eagerness to see him make his big league debut, it’s understandable that the club wouldn’t want to throw him in against Chris Sale, who has been his dominant self from his Cy Young campaign last season despite missing some time with injuries. Calling
my shot: Ford will start behind the plate tomorrow. Leo Rivas makes his first start since being recalled, filling in for J.P. Crawford on a rare day off, and Josh Naylor gets another day off after exiting early in Wednesday’s game with shoulder stiffness.
After his disastrous outing in Philly, Logan Gilbert has turned in two consecutive quality starts, though one obviously hopes he’s closer to his career-high 13-strikeout outing against the A’s as opposed to his six-inning, three-run effort against Cleveland last Saturday. In any case, with the bullpen needing to once again cover several extra innings on Wednesday, it would behoove LoGi to once again go deep.
