Jorge Polanco hit his first home run since his return from the IL to help the team win their series against the Guardians.

It’s been a long road to the majors for Yan but he finally was given an opportunity after the Mets
sell-off at the deadline.
Yan did his famous strikeout celebration after he picked up his first two major league strikeouts.
Freddy Peralta reportedly helped Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor come to a truce but Soto denys that such a meeting ever took place.
Jonah Tong gave up five solo home runs in his unfortunate start with Syracuse.
The Mets held onto Luis Robert Jr., and while he most likely won’t be on the roster next year, he will play every day with Soto on the IL.

The Marlins traded prospect Jacob Berry to the Royals in exchange for cash considerations.
The Phillies fell 10-4 to the Nationals in extra innings with Brooks Raley giving up the game-tying home run in the seventh.
Before the game the Nationals DFA-ed righty Zack Littell who was brought in during the offseason.
