Barcelona star Fermin Lopez has rubbished speculation that he could be tempted to leave the club and join Premier League strugglers Manchester United.
There have been reports this week that Lopez has been targeted by the Red Devils as a potential replacement for captain Bruno Fernandes.
Yet Lopez is not interested at all in such talk and says he can imagine spending his whole career with the Catalan giants.
“I don’t pay attention to this kind of news. I want to be at Barça as long as possible and I hope
to finish my career at this club,” he said, per Mundo Deportivo.
Lopez is enjoying a great start to the season and was on target again in Saturday’s 6-1 win over Alaves at Camp Nou, scoring and picking up two assists in the match.
The midfield star now has six goals and six assists in 13 outings for Hansi Flick’s side so far in 2026-27.
