With the 2026 offseason underway, Northwestern is grappling with the departure of eight athletes to the transfer portal, including Tre Singleton — the highest ranked recruit in modern school history. With a roster overhaul needed, Chris Collins will be actively scouting the portal to locate talent that can replace those departing players.

[Reported interest] Jake Fiegen | Cornell | 6-4
Fiegen is down to four schools — Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Villanova and Virginia — he said in an interview with The Record NS. The 6-4 sharpshooter is a Wilmette, Illinois native whom averaged 17.1 points per game on 54.6% shooting from the field with Cornell last season.

Singleton is set to visit Iowa State this weekend, per his agent James Conley Jr. The Indiana native averaged 7.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game as a starter in 31 games and was Northwestern’s highest-ranked recruit in the modern era.

[In portal] Jayden Reid | G | Junior | Entered portal: April 6
Reid served as NU’s primary point guard after transferring from USF, averaging 10.1 points and 5.0 assists per game — top five in the Big Ten. His agent informed On3 of his intention to enter the portal.

Page averaged career highs of 10.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 54.6% in 29 games (16 starts). Page has transferred after each season of his college career, with previous stops at USC and Cincinnati.

Clayton averaged 3.9 points in 10 starts and shot 41% from three — second on the team. A defensive staple and one of the longest-tenured Wildcats, he was part of the 2023-24 NCAA Tournament squad.

Kropp averaged 3.1 points in 31 games with 10 starts. The No. 2 high school player in Ohio confirmed his departure with a farewell message on X.
