Müller would have joined Barca if Flick called (Barca Universal)
As a club legend at Bayern Munich, Thomas Müller was part of some historic performances against FC Barcelona, so it might surprise some to learn that the Raumdeuter would have packed his bags and joined the Catalans if Hansi Flick would have called him.
In a recent interview with Blickpunkt Sport, Müller said he could have “imagined” a future playing with Robert Lewandowski under Flick in Catalonia.
“I could have imagined a future in Barcelona,” Muller said. “If Hansi Flick, who knows me very well,
had called me and I had liked the project in Barcelona, I could have imagined something like this. FC Barcelona are a top club. People know what they expect of you.”
Let’s be honest, FC Barcelona would have needed to pull a lever or two to afford Müller, but how crazy would that have been?
Bayern, Barca, Real lead pack on Guéhi (ESPN)
Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and FC Barcelona appear to be the top three candidates to land Crystal Palace center-back Marc Guéhi:
Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid are leading the race to sign Marc Guéhi in January, The i Paper reports. The Crystal Palace defender’s contract is set to expire next summer, meaning the reigning FA Cup holders are keen to cash in before he can depart on a free transfer. While Liverpool almost signed Guéhi back in August, a host of clubs around Europe could now rival them for his signature. Palace won’t let the England international leave on the cheap in January, despite the likes of Bayern being keen to land him “at the first opportunity.”

Plettenberg confirms Bayern being out on Vlahović (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)
According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich will not be pursuing Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović:
🚨❌ Dusan #Vlahovic is undoubtedly a top forward, but he is currently not under consideration for FC Bayern’s plans for the summer of 2026, despite reports elsewhere and as mentioned on our show. Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are not pursuing the matter.
His contract with Juventus expires at the end of the season. One to watch for the next two transfer windows.
This could mean that reporters are hearing that Harry Kane might — at least — be willing to play out his current contract, which runs through 2027.
Everton could get deal on Grealish (ESPN)
Everton is hoping to be able to get a bargain deal for Manchester City loanee next summer:
Everton will be able to sign winger Jack Grealish for under £50 million next summer, according to the Daily Mail. Despite the winger’s strong start to life on Merseyside, it is believed that his transfer value will depreciate over the course of the season — which could help Everton sign him permanently. Grealish, 30, has grabbed four assists in seven matches this season, rediscovering his best form, and presenting England manager Thomas Tuchel with a selection headache.

Gnabry has nothing, but praise for Bayern attacking group (Sky Germany via @iMiaSanMia)
Injured Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry recently spoke about his affinity for his attacking teammates — Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Díaz.
“Playing with Luis is fun. But we also have a really good chemistry with Michael and Harry. There’s nobody there with a big ego, which is very important. I think that helps a team immensely. Harry is incredibly important to our game. What he gives in the game, not just his goals, which speak for themselves. His numbers, but also how he commits to the team. That’s very, very important – you rarely have a player like that, who plays like that and then contributes like that,” Gnabry said.
