Germany’s 2-0 victory over Serbia gave supporters plenty to be encouraged about, with several players putting together performances worth highlighting. Florian Wirtz naturally stands out after another influential display, continuing to show why he is one of the most important players in this Germany setup. His ability to create chances, dictate attacks, and make things happen in the final third was once again on full display.
Tom Bischof also deserves plenty of attention after scoring his first goal
for the senior national team. The Bayern Munich midfielder looked confident and composed, while his goal provided a memorable moment in what was an impressive performance.
Aleksandar Pavlović is another name to consider after bringing his usual composure and quality in midfield. Philipp Treu offered energy and reliability, while Maximilian Mittelstädt provided an important presence from the left side. Malick Thiaw also deserves recognition for his contribution defensively as Germany secured a clean sheet.
But those are only some of the possibilities. There were plenty of individual performances to discuss, and supporters may have been impressed by someone completely different.
So, who stood out to you the most against Serbia? Who would you pick as Germany’s standout performers?
