What is the story about?
Let’s start the week as strong as we can, yeah? I believe in you.
Lead Rumor: WWE using AI
WWE has received criticism from portions of the fan base regarding its use of AI in promotional materials, with some particularly bad videos drawing backlash. Some of the early El Grande Americano stuff comes to mind.
It seems the company isn’t going to back off. Actually, they’re going to ramp it up.
That’s the word from WRKD Wrestling, who say that while WWE is “well aware of the negative online reaction” to its use of AI they “plan
to continue increasing its use.” This will apparently be both on and off screen.
It may very well just be time to accept the new reality we live in, folks. We can’t even escape it in pro wrestling.
