Barcelona’s 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday saw plenty of tension at Vallecas from the fans in the stands watching the game.
Objects were thrown at Lamine Yamal after he won and scored a penalty in the first half which was fiercely contested by the home side.
Rayo fans also expressed their anger after the game. New footage shows how Frenkie de Jong, Alejandro Balde and Marc Casado were set to give their shirts to young fans after the match but were blocked by home supporters.
Fans were heard shouting at the players, with Mundo Deportivo detailing what was said to the Barcelona stars.
“You can’t win here even by stealing. This is Vallecas, dogs! You can’t win here even by stealing. Not even by stealing, f*ck off! Nothing is given here, eh! Here in the heart of Vallecas, shirts are not given out, eh! Out, out.
“Deep down, they are not given out. Then, in the locker room, whatever you want, not here. They don’t give out shirts here, so do whatever you want! Go away, do whatever you want! If you give it to them, we’re going to take it away from them.”
De Jong seemed to defuse the situation by responding with a nod and a thumbs up before leading the players back to the locker roon.
