Former Bellator welterweight, Dillon Danis, is scheduled to fight Warren Spencer under MMA rules for the upcoming Misfits Boxing 22 fight card on Sat. (Aug. 30) in Manchester, streaming live on DAZN.
In preparation for his “Mechanic” melee, Danis took time out of his busy training schedule to flatline former UFC champ, Luke Rockhold, during a backstage brawl. Rockhold, 40, is scheduled to box fellow Octagon veteran Darren Till in the Misfits 22 main event.
Outside of a lone pic floating around on social
media, there’s not much to corroborate his story.
“Well, I already knocked out Luke Rockhold today,” Danis said during the Misfits 22 weigh-ins (watch them here). “He’s a former UFC champion, that was easy. So I’ll knock out [Spencer] tomorrow, and then I’ll fight KSI after that. I’m just taking everybody out.”
Danis has a longstanding beef with KSI (presumably because of this).
The 32 year-old Danis later tweeted that “DC’s fat ass is next,” referring to Rockhold’s longtime friend and training partner, Daniel Cormier, who once held UFC titles in two separate weight classes. That fight sounds like a one-way ticket back to the car wash.
