What is the story about?
Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Brooklyn Nets Monday night and it was another solid game for the rookie from Duke.
Dallas is currently without Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively, who looks to be out for the season after surgery, so that puts a lot of pressure on the rook. And you know what?
He came through – again.
Flagg finished with 27 points on 10-17/0-1 from the floor, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals. He also provided real leadership for his team down
the stretch.
All in all, it was an impressive performance. It would have been anyway, but with three or four starters out? That’s crazy for a rookie.
